Adena Orchard & Vine is a truly special place. It has breathtaking mountain views, rolling meadows, and gorgeously restored barns all paired with a delightfully unpretentious and unstuffy vibe. Many of our guests came up to us on our wedding day (and for weeks after!) to remark on what a perfect location Adena Orchard & Vine was. What truly sets it apart, though, is Alana and Kevin's flexibility and inclusiveness. They know that each wedding day is as different as the people involved, and they celebrate and uplift the unique love and personalities of the families being joined. They've eschewed the cookie-cutter, auto-pilot, wedding-machine and instead make space for your creativity, your individualized stories, and your dreams. For us, this meant a ceremony under the old vine apple tree looking out over the pond, a cocktail hour in the Rosedale Barn, dinner al fresco in the early evening in the open fields, a full on drag cabaret in the Kirkman for our reception, and a sing-a-long around the bonfire to end the night. It was the absolutely perfect wedding -- for us -- and we feel a deep connection to this family and their place. Our tree grows in Jewett.

Adena Orchard & Vine is a stunning property and Kevin and Alana are absolutely wonderful to work with; we couldn't have been happier. We utilized the whole venue, hosting our rehearsal dinner at the Rosedale barn, our ceremony in the barnyard ceremony area, our reception on the Great Lawn, and wrapped it all up with s'mores at the bonfire. Alana and Kevin were there to help us every step of the way (including fixing my broken shoe)- they're there to support you however you need. The area is remote but has hotels nearby. The property is well-kept while maintaining the element of being woodsy and natural. We would highly recommend Adena Orchard & Vine!

Words can barely describe the experience we had at Adena for our wedding. It all started once I received a call back from Alana to set up a tour. The moment I spoke to her on the phone there was an instant connection and understanding about the experience we were looking for and I remember telling my now husband that I just felt something different about this place. Not only was she extremely professional over the phone when explaining the property but she seemed overall excited and full of love (which was very hard to come by during the venue search). When we visited the property Alana and Kevin were warm and had an entire tour prepared. As soon as we finished the tour we knew we definitely wanted our special day at Adena. They were both so accommodating and helpful during the wedding planning process and full of recommendations. The tree planting was such a treat to enjoy with our close friends and family prior to our wedding ! Our September wedding was like a DREAM. We had the most perfect day and Adena looked absolutely STUNNING. Our ceremony by the big rock really came together beautifully. All of the colors, greenery, and rustic vibe of the property was just sensational for our day. We had SO many compliments and inquires on how we even found Adena. So many guests told us that they had never been to a wedding like this and how it was truly an experience they had never had. The entire day felt so full of love and we owe that all to Alana and Kevin for creating such a venue that can make everyone feel that. They truly felt like family. We have the most amazing memories and wish we could relive the entire experience. We cannot wait to be back for our anniversary for all the years to come !

Where to begin?  When we reached out to Adena Orchard & Vine, Alana told us that all we'd have to do to fall in love with it is to just take a trip and see it in person. Boy, was she right. Adena was the first venue we looked at, and we knew right away that it was everything we were looking for!

Alana & Kevin feel like family, no joke.  From the beginning, Alana was extremely communicative and transparent about costs, vendors, and even time.  We have had such an amazing time communicating with her, that it's so hard to think that it's finally over.  Jackiie and I knew from the get-go that we would be having a large, bohemian, non-traditional, DIY wedding, and Adena fully truly wholly delivered.  From the GORGEOUS setting deep in the Catskills, to the STUNNING authentic barn that Kevin has put so much work into restoring, our wedding would not have been anywhere near as magical or perfect had Adena not hosted it.

I can't say enough great things about this gorgeous property and it's owners. From the first phone call, to my minor freak outs, to post wedding follow up, Alana and Kevin have been nothing but sweet, helpful, and accommodating. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail allowed us to have the most perfect wedding day. The grounds and barn are stunning. We had our ceremony in the great lawn, with a beautiful view of the mountains. After our reception in the barn, we had a lovely bonfire to end our night.

We had such a beautiful wedding and amazing experience here. The grounds are just truly unbeatable - a long hill overlooking the mountains, the barn, the bridal suite... everything was just perfect. The ceremony and reception can be done in a number of locations: on the hill, on the lawn near the house, in the barn, really any combo is possible and will work out beautifully. Kevin and Alana were amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a stress free day. Subtle details in the barn and on the property just make the place truly outstanding. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and of course we agree!

If you are looking to do a barn wedding, or a wedding outside on some GORGEOUS grounds, this is the place. I just had the wedding of my dreams here last weekend. The barn itself is beyond perfect, and we were able to set up the space exactly how we wanted to. All of my guests can't stop talking about it, and I keep hearing "this is the best wedding I've ever been to." The usable space near the barn is huge, and we even played with the idea of doing a large wedding tent as well as the barn. They have multiple options for areas to do the ceremony- all set with the mountains in the backdrop. The bridal suite area is seriously something out of a bridal magazine. The best part of the whole experience, however, are the two fantastic people who own this space. They were always available for my new husband and I to ask any questions, or for any of our vendors to reach out to. They checked in often with logistical, and checking in to see if we needed anything leading up to the day of. They were truly beyond helpful when it came to day-of setup and could not have been sweeter the entire process! By the end, I felt like they were family! I could not be more sincere, the first time I saw Adena Orchard & Vine, I was in LOVE. I knew it was the one, and that was in February, when everything blooms or the leaves start changing it is just perfection.

The grandeur of the Catskill mountains, the beauty of the mountaintop clouds, the history of the grounds, and the warmth of the venue's hosts made Adena a magical place for our special moment. The outdoor location was ideal for our event, and the Catskill mountains provided a stunning backdrop. Alana and Kevin, the owners, are dedicated to detail and anticipated our every need. Getting ready in the bridal suite, with its gentle natural light, vintage decor, and relaxed atmosphere was a special treat. We appreciated the opportunity to personalize and put our own stamp on the event. The location is remote enough to feel private and exclusive but close enough to many small charming towns (great for lodging) and major cities. With its rustic charm, the spacious Adena grounds provided exquisite photo opportunities to capture our happy, memorable moments.
